How It Works

  1. Review the adventures available on our website. You will learn what each ride offers and what to expect for riding terrain.
  2. Sign up for a ride by calling us 661-202-5184 or send  an email   to coyotetrailadventures@gmail.com (note that if you click on the email and it does not open an email for you automatieither retype or cally, you will need to open a new email and copy/paste this email address into your email manually). We will want to talk about the skill level of the riders and when you want to visit to ensure the ride matches what you are looking for.
  3. To secure the dates, you will need to put down a $300 deposit per person.
  4. Plan your travel to Lancaster, CA. We recommend if you are flying in from out of town, to arrive the day ahead because we will typically leave early morning on day one. Let us know if you need assistance with pick up a local airport: LAX or Burbank.

  • You will need your riding gear
  • If you are bringing your own bike, it needs to be prepped and trail ready on day one.
  • We have secured parking for your vehicle.
  • We will load all bikes on a trailer towed by one of our trucks. The chase truck driver will have all your personal belongings and take them from point to point.
  • You will change into your riding gear once we arrive at the starting point for the day. The first day's ride could be anywhere from 80-120 miles depending on the ride selected.

What to Expect Each Day

  1. You will have a great breakfast, get loaded up with our water, grab snacks and hit the trail.
  2. Our guide, Steve Walker, will lead you throughout the day along with a sweep rider and chase truck driver.  They will all have radios.
  3. The chase truck driver will be meeting up with the riders at least one time each day to provide snacks, water and/or lunch.
  4. The goal will be to get in a full day of riding and arrive at the destinations before dark so people can settle in and rest. The places we stay at could be rustic, but they all are clean and have a bed and showers - no tents!  We only choose places where we have had great experiences.

Trail Repairs

This is the beauty of having so much support:

  • We take care of bike prep each day, flats and other issues.
  • We have a chase truck with extra tools.
  • We bring extra bikes in case a bike is not repairable.
  • This even applies if you bring your own bike (a rental fee will apply for only the days the bike is ridden).  There is a bike damage deposit (returned if the bike has zero damage) and we have a few recommendations about trip insurance that you can read on our FAQs Page.

Last Day of Riding

We will get to the final ride destination in the afternoon, change into street clothes, load up and head back to Lancaster (where we started). We can get you back to your hotel or the airport if you are flying out that night. We don't have access to showers at the end of the ride, so that should be factored in. Since every ride is a bit different on time, we should talk about the specific times of arrival back to Lancaster.
