    Moto Itinerary

You will experience both epic two-track and some single-track trails with expansive forest and mountain views. This area is in the high elevations, so it is ideal for summer-time riding adventures in Southern California. The scenery and historical sites are incredible. You will thoroughly enjoy our fuel injected KTMs which are taken care of meticulously. We will ride super fun trails through the Easter Nevada Mountains for breathtaking adventures.

1st Night: You can fly in to LAX where there is a convenient shuttle service that you will need to book ahead of your arrival date (Antelope Valley Airport Express [antelopeexpress.com]). LAX is approximately 1.5-2 hours from Palmdale. You can also fly into Burbank or Ontario which are about 1 hour from Palmdale. However, there is no shuttle service and you can use a ride share service such as Uber or Lyft or you can rent a car which you can drop off in the Palmdale/Lancaster area. You will need to arrive early that afternoon to our place where we'll drive on up to Lone Pine for the evening which is about a 3-hour drive where we will get dinner along the way.

Day 1: We will begin our day at approximately 6:00 am with breakfast and coffee. From there we'll drive north to Bishop (about a hour drive). There we'll unload and get geared up to begin our day of riding. It will be about 110 miles where we will arrive in Lee Vining for the evening with cold drinks, hot shower and a nice meal. There is a great view of Mono Lake here.

Day 2: We will wake up with coffee and breakfast at 7:30-8am, get geared up and begin another great day riding. Today, we will spend a little time in the Bodie Hills and then head east into Nevada for a bit. This will be another 100+ mile day, visiting some nice old mining sites including the ghost town of Aurora, Nevada which was founded in 860 for it's gold and silver. We will end the day in Bridgeport where cold drinks await you with fantastic meals, warm beds and hot showers.

Day 5: You will again wake up to hot coffee and breakfast. Your luggage will be loaded into the trailer. Today we have a short 60-70 mile ride to the June Lake area where the truck and trailer will be waiting. We will get a late lunch, load up and head back towards Palmdale arriving around 6pm. This is where we will say our goodbyes to our new moto friends. Note that you will need to arrange transport from this Palmdale location.

I like to note that some of these days are point-to-point with the routes being 100+ miles and terrain is often rocky two track with each day having a couple challenging sections.

Come join us for this epic adventure that will make memories of a lifetime!

    Our Focus on Customer Satisfaction

Each of our adventures are based around a novice to intermediate rider ability (scale: beginner, novice, intermediate, expert). We can arrange SOME rides for beginners, but we need to discuss the specific rider ability to ensure we create a safe and fun experience.

Don't let the daily mileage worry you, we can also arrange rides with less daily or overall mileage as needed for your group. We are very flexible.

Safety is extremely important to Coyote Trail Adventures. Our guides have GPS navigation and satellite phones along with being trained in First-Aid response.

We are 100% committed to ensuring that all you have to focus on is enjoying your ride on the bike! We take care of all the details to make your trip as epic as it can be! We even typically have the items that people might forget to bring.   We have a tremendous amount of experience with helping riders with fatigue and first-aid issues such as blisters.

We have personally been on many moto adventures with other tour companies and we find that an ideal group size is between 4-8 riders which helps to keep the group riding at a pleasurable pace.  Though, we can accomodate larger groups if needed.

For all our rides, we can also arrange pre or post-ride lodging in Palmdale for $140 double occupancy (cost for 2 people).

We have the CA required liability insurance on all of our bikes which covers our renters and we are permitted by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

Feel free to call us and we can explain various options to get exactly what you are looking for.

For those who fly into LAX, there is a shuttle service that you can call to book: http://antelopeexpress.com
